On August 10th and 11th, a group of 11 students attended a retreat at Green Lake for StingCancer with Karen Bloom and Angie Bielinski. The students had the opportunity swim in the lake, play games as well as strategize and plan for this school year.
Students involved included Dana Ullman, Morgan Brice, Summer Pieschek. Calysta Tielens, Jayden Bielinski, Samantha Buresh, Nikita Metz, Dixie Wery, Kelsey Thelen, and Arely Perez. All the students had many laughs while team building and playing games.
A lot of planning went into the two days for events like Pink Out for Volleyball, The Booyah Cookoff, Christmas Cookie Deliveries, Survivor Spaghetti Dinner, Chemo Bags, and The StingCancer Walk in May.
