Global Scholars is an initiative from the Wisconsin Department of Education that improves global learning across the curriculum. Students complete language classes, service hours, special projects, and learning activities that allow them to earn the Global Scholars Certificate from Wisconsin upon graduation.
This month, the Global Scholars Club collected hundreds of shoes to be sent to Africa for people in need! Thank you to the community for all the donations!
The group also
hosted a Thanksgiving meal for the international exchange students. Each Global Scholar brought a typical Thanksgiving food to teach the others what the Thanksgiving holiday is about and how we celebrate in the United States! High school students are invited to join the Global Scholars Club and can more information about the group here:
